My why

I feel passionately about improving our mental and physical health, not necessarily so that we live longer but so we live happier and healthier.

For many of us the society and systems in which we exist do not create an environment where its possible for us to do this; the air we breathe isn't clear, healthy food is expensive, life is fast paced and full of stresses, we spend too much time inside and on screens and we're constantly exposed to things around us that cause us to make false  comparisons and feel bad about ourselves.

Losing my hearing on the way to work one day during a particularly stressful time at work and life outside of work, was the wake-up call I needed to start to prioritise my health and wellbeing.

Part of my work is trying to change organisations to address some of the root causes that affect stress, unhealthiness and unhappiness at work, their organisation and job design and their culture and ways of working.

The other part of my work to to support individuals and teams to build the necessary resources within themselves to develop their resilience and influence change.  Helping teams to better understand one another, to build relationships that make them stronger and to develop ways of working that help them thrive within their wider organisation.  Helping individuals to gain more self-awareness, and to recognise what a thriving work-life and life outside of work would look like to them and to help them get there, whether this be through working with their nervous system and emotional regulation; mindset; or putting into place actions that help them on their journey.

My background

I have a largely Corporate background as a management consultant having worked for large organisations such as Deloitte, BP and KPMG working across industry with a variety of clients in different sectors. I specialised in supporting HR functions to be more effective in developing their people and organisations.

My eye opener to purposeful work was working as part of the organising commitee for the London 2012 Olympic & Paralympic games.  Upon starting my family I resumed my studies alongside some fractional work (it was difficult to intregrate all three) and in 2024 I graduated with a doctorate from Cranfield University having researched how HR functions are organising and what is influencing this.

Alongside my coaching work I am also an investor and have an active role in the People side of a hotel and members club which is focused on Wellbeing in the UK.

As a coach

I am trained to a PCC (Professional Coaching Competency) standard, accredited by the ICF (the International Coaching Federation) with an ACC qualification.

I am also certified as an ICF Advanced Team Coach, having completed my training in 2024.

For 1:1 coaching I work regularly as an associate through organisations delivering online coaching, I also have my own private coaching clients, many of whom have coaching outside or whilst walking in central London.  I have a number of team coaching clients from charities, other industries and in particular, HR leadership teams.

My coaching in non-directional, warm and structured.  I prioritise ensuring that my clients feel heard and get to vocalise their thoughts and feelings.  Often, with permission, from my clients I will draw upon metaphor and tools to support my coaching to aid my clients insight and awareness.

I receive regular supervision and undertake regular reflection to continue my coaching development and in particular I study nervous system regulation, trauma and neuroscience to inform my practice.

Outside of coaching

I am a mum to three – or four if you count my chocolate Labrador! I love travelling and being immersed in new cultures. I have to be outside in nature as much as possible and walk daily often whilst listening to my Joe Dispenza medications; Diary of a CEO or Dr. Ranjan Chaterjee podcasts.

I exercise doing yoga and bootcamps.  I use cold water swimming or ice bath dips and sauna visits to maintain my wellbeing.

I am a trained Reiki practitioner and will soon be adding other therapeutic modalities such as Breathwork and possibly psychic mediumship to my belt to complement my coaching.
